Building your Profile
Each Brand has three parts to their online virtual showroom:
Brand Profile – Your own personal, perfect store window.
Brand Collection –Your beautiful wholesale trade show booth.
The Terms - Payment terms plus minimum order & reorder amounts.
Your Brand Profile is public-facing, seen by anyone browsing The Marketplace, and your Brand Collection is concealed within The Marketplace, and only available upon login for view by vetted, authenticated, pre-registered buyers with Buyer Profiles. The Terms are also hidden from the Public and only available to logged in Buyers.
You’ll want to tend to your pages as you would a garden, making sure right before launch — as well as periodically throughout the season — that everything is up-to-date, accurate, and looking as beautiful as possible! Below, we’ve outlined how best to proceed with building your Brand Profile page.

What You Need
Brands are encouraged to gather and prepare the below elements prior to onboarding in order to ensure a quick setup. After onboarding, our team will check each Brand Profile storefront for the following items.
-
Specifications: Format can be either .svg, .png, or .jpeg in 320 x 320 pixels.
Logos must have a solid white or transparent background.
-
Please write two to three sentences about your brand. Think of this as your elevator pitch; a concise boilerplate meant to quickly engage viewers! No crazy formatting, just quick, clear copy that gives a crisp overview of who you are, and what your brand is about.
-
Specifications: 1140 x 196 pixels.
Please note that the display of the website is reflexive. You may zoom in and out of your screen as well minimize and maximize the window. All of these will affect the dynamic header and how it appears.
-
What’s new? What are you featuring this season? Here’s your chance to give buyers insight on your newest collection, your most defining products, or a quick snapshot of your overall assortment.
A great example would be: “For our latest introductions we were inspired by an unforgettable trip to Rajasthan that conjures memories of saffron, marigold blooms, and silver paillettes. The result is a new collection of vibrant, pigment-dyed natural fabrics with decidedly modern embellishments across kitchen textiles that will bring joy to the family table.”
-
Specifications: 320 x 320px or so as pretty much any square size should work and look good. Ideally we would love to see new products featured here! Merchandise these six image boxes to showcase your best, most compelling products, front and center. These six images should give buyers a reason to click through to your complete Brand Showroom, so pull them in! These images can link to products within your Collection.
-
You are permitted one promotional video in a prominent space on your Brand Profile page.
It’s important to utilize this space wisely; we encourage you to produce and post a compelling video that’s attractive and evocative of your brand, and not too long — 1 to 5 minutes max!
If you don’t have a brand video, we encourage you to make one! Even if just a casual, friendly and fun, DIY introduction to you and your brand. Grab a friend who is handy with the camera and editing software, and remember to shoot horizontally like a movie — not vertically like an Instagram story!
Some examples:
To align with the clean, streamlined (and ad-free!) aesthetic of our platform, we ask that you please host your Brand Profile Video via our chosen video hosting software, Wistia! You can set up your free account via the link above, customize the color and branding of your video iFrame, and then embed your link directly into your beautiful profile!
-
You will have 1 image container to upload a .jpeg file (1110x600 pixels) for your Lookbook cover photo and then link that image to your PDF Lookbook (hosted somewhere such as Dropbox). Because your lookbook will live on a public-facing Brand Profile, do not include any pricing information. Please be sure that your leading lookbook image is not your logo, but an attractive lifestyle shot. If you do not have a lookbook, simply create an image-heavy PDF to load in PPT, Keynote, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar! You will link the cover image to your PDF, so be sure to save it to dropbox.
-
You will need to enter https:// in front of both links prior to copying and pasting them in.
Please watch the video tutorial below for instructions on how to complete your Brand Profile page.
Brand Terms Page
Minimum Order Amount
This is the minimum dollar amount that a buyer must spend to place an order. While the buyer is shopping and adding items to their cart, the shopping cart will tell them how much more they need to add to meet this minimum requirement. We do not have the ability to list a minimum piece order at this time. If you have a minimum piece order, we recommend listing that in the Terms box on this page. Please note that the Minimum Order amount will alert buyers when they have not reached that amount but will NOT keep them from placing an order.
Reorder Amount
You may list a lower reorder amount for existing clients. This amount is in US dollars.
Payment Terms
Please list any additional terms you may have such as payment methods, deposits, shipping costs, shipping times etc.
Editing Your Profile
Brands are encouraged to gather and prepare the above elements prior to onboarding in order to ensure a quick setup. After onboarding, our team will check each storefront for a completed profile page, an uploading Collection, and completed Terms.
You may edit any part of your Profile Page, Collection, or Terms Page at anytime prior, during, and after the season's Launch Week.
