Sade Baron is created by a mother-daughter duo (Sade and Rachel) with one simple goal in mind: to create high-quality vegan body products packed with nutrient-rich superfoods that are good for both your skin and our planet. The skin’s amazing regenerative powers inspire every one of Sade Baron’s products, informed by Sade’s 35 years of experience creating and recommending skin solutions as a nurse and midwife.

 
 
 
 
 

 

Homa Studios

Founded by designer Altarik Banks, Homa Studios creates objects that propose new visions of the everyday. Homa melds craftsmanship, emerging technology, and uncompromising collaboration to explore the surprises and joys found within the home. As design principal, Banks designs forms with a deep interest in materials, sustainability, and fabrication processes – all of the designs are crafted in his native New Jersey using clay excavated from Toney’s Brook.

 
 
 
 
 

 

Iris 1956

Iris 1956 is a modern jewelry brand founded in 2017 by designer and metalsmith Candias. Inspired by her African heritage and her native New Orleans culture (and named after her mother), Iris 1956 offers jewelry to encourage self-love, tell a story of perseverance, and remind you who you are and where you come from. Oya Abeo

Founded by Samiat Salami, Oya Abeo creates exquisitely designed products for the home by marrying centuries-old Nigerian artisanship with exclusive and playful designs. They journey around Nigeria to bring you the best materials and craftsmanship, from 100% Nigerian cotton fabric, grown in Funtua, Katsina, to elegantly drawn prints from artisans in Osogbo, to hand-woven fabric from Iseyin, where the artisans’ knowledge of weaving has been passed through generations.

Ardor Bin's plant-obsessed founder Latrice Littleton couldn't find home fragrances that met the natural standards she was looking for, so she created Ardor Bin with the hopes of elevating the plant-based marketplace while promoting conscious consumerism. A Kids Company About

Back in 2018, founder, CEO, and dad Jelani Memory wrote a book titled “A Kids Book About Racism,” to make sure his kids knew that racism was always an open subject with him. A Kids Company About seeks to empower kids to talk about the important stuff in life—they have published over 50 books, to that end, on topics like Divorce, Optimism, Voting, Cancer, Shame, Racism, Gratitude, Empathy, and Being Non-Binary.

Starting in Brooklyn, NY back in 2016, REISFIELDS NYC is a black and queer cultural and lifestyle design lab created to offer an artisan line of handcrafted and curated pieces for your home and personal enjoyment. Their 100% soy wax candles are all blended in small, clean-burning batches with fragrances and essential oils and hand-poured in their lab in New Jersey, creating a beautiful, sustainable product made in the USA.
